      We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team.

      The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings including: supported living services, children’s residential homes, hostel support, edge of care, drug and alcohol services, educational provisions, day centre support, acquired brain injuries and community outreach support. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those we support and consistency to our clients.

      Our client base currently covers the North East therefore as a support worker you will be offered a variety of shifts and support services to suit your skill set, location and availability.

      Duties

      As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

      • Engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
      • Support clients with some challenging behaviours and situations.
      • Offering companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
      • Conducting housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
      • Assisting with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social outings.
      • Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
      • Supporting services as directed by their in house team
      • Following direction, policy and procedures specific to a service and the company
      • Complete all online and practical training required for your role, provided by the company.

      Experience

      Candidates should possess the following experience or skills:

      Required

      • DBS on the update service
      • 1 year health or social care experience (UK based)
      • Able to provide 5 years of referencing

      Desirable

      • Driving licence with business insurance
      • Level 3 in health and social care
