We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in various settings, including supported living, residential homes, hostels, social care and educational provisions, supporting within the family homes and in the community. This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in our care and representing We Care Bespoke ethos and values with our clients.

Duties

As a Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:

• Engaging clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Implementing behaviour management techniques as needed to support clients with challenging behaviours.
• Offering companionship and emotional support to clients and their families.
• Conducting light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Assisting with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social outings.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Working under direction and policies of the service/provider you support.
• Adhering to company policy and procedure
• Completing required documentation on shifts

Experience

Candidates should possess the following experience or skills:

• Driving licence ideally with business insurance
• Level 3 in health and social care
• DBS on the update service
• 1 year health care experience (UK based)
