      • Promote a positive team culture based on compassion, accountability and high standards.
      • Oversee safeguarding practice, risk assessments, behaviour support plans and incident reporting.
      • Ensure medication administration is managed safely and in line with policies and procedures.
      • Monitor service quality through audits, feedback, reflective practice and continuous improvement.
      • Manage staff rotas, recruitment, induction, training and ongoing staff development.
      • Build strong working relationships with families, placing authorities, healthcare professionals, social workers and Ofsted.
      • Maintain accurate, clear and up-to-date records relating to care planning, safeguarding, incidents and compliance.
      • Prepare for and maintain a successful Ofsted registration and inspection outcomes.
      • Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the service, with the potential to progress into a Dual Registered Manager position.

      About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about achieving the best outcomes for children and who can bring strong leadership, professionalism and warmth to the role.

      The successful candidate will have:

      • Experience supporting children with complex needs, including learning disabilities, autism, ADHD and/or emotional and behavioural needs.
      • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, supervise and develop a team.
      • A sound understanding of safeguarding, Ofsted requirements and children’s residential care standards.
      • Experience developing and implementing person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
      • Knowledge of medication administration, incident management and regulatory compliance.
      • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
      • The ability to manage competing priorities calmly and effectively.

      • A genuine commitment to creating a stable, safe and positive home environment for a child.

      What We Offer
